Equipment Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Participate actively in project preparation and provide expert advice on equipment use.

  • Handle equipment modifications based on project requirements, including managing and executing necessary maintenance.

  • Advise both the project team and on-site crew regarding technical adjustments and improvements.

  • Oversee and manage technical modifications effectively.

  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at manufacturers’ locations.

  • Act as the first line of response for equipment breakdowns, coordinating swiftly with the project management and on-site teams.

  • Promote a robust safety culture within the team and on operational sites.

  • Be flexible and prepared for occasional travel and work outside regular office hours, including offshore assignments.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational background at a maximum level of HBO / Maritime Officer (Marof).

  • Practical experience at sea (internships included).

  • Technical expertise clearly reflected in your CV (nautical background is acceptable, but technical proficiency is essential).

  • Independent and proactive mindset with strong decision-making skills.

  • Structured approach with strong planning and organizational capabilities.

Additional details

  • Language: Fluency in Dutch is strongly preferred.

  • Employment Type: Permanent position only (no freelance candidates).

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid possible, with a minimum of four days per week in the South Holland office.

  • Compensation: €3,000 to €4,000 gross monthly salary (multiplied by 14.04 annually) with additional ZKV compensation.
