Deputy Vessel Superintendent
Key Responsibilities
- Safety First: Champion a culture where safety isn’t just a priority—it’s the way we do things.
- Regulatory Compliance: Partner with the Master and Chief Engineer to navigate the complex waters of IMO, class, flag, and ISM responsibilities.
- Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize project impact and keep the vessel in top-notch condition.
- Project Management: Plan and execute major works, including dry-docking and Capex projects, ensuring they’re completed on time and within budget.
- Crew Coordination: Work with Offshore Staffing to maintain an effective marine crew and technical team.
What we are looking for
- Educational Background: Maximum of HBO / Marof qualification.
- Seafaring Experience: Hands-on experience at sea is essential—even if it’s just from your internship days.
- Technical Acumen: While a nautical background is acceptable, your CV should reflect solid technical knowledge.
- Management Skills: Proven experience in project and stakeholder management.

The Renewables & Heavy Lifting business unit of our team in South Holland, is a uniquely capable and experienced partner for the delivery of offshore wind farm projects as well as specialist heavy lifting and cable installation services. With combined expertise in project management, engineering, procurement, fabrication, heavy lifting, and cable installation services, our team delivers these services in a comprehensive array of contractual structures including EPCI, T&I, and BoP (Balance of Plant), to our clients in the offshore Renewables and Energy sector.

- Travel Requirements: Travel is project-dependent, including potential offshore assignments and site or client visits.
- Compensation: Salary ranges from €4,000 to €6,000 gross per month (multiplied by 14.04), plus ZKV compensation.
