The Role
As Package Manager – Fabrication (Transition Pieces), you hold the wheel from A to Z. You are the central point of contact for all fabrication activities within a leading offshore wind project—managing engineering, planning, procurement, production, quality control, and delivery. Your job: keep everything—and everyone—on track, on time, and on spec. No micromanagement, no endless bureaucracy. Just direct impact, every day.
Main Responsibilites:

Full-cycle package management: From kick-off to delivery, you oversee the entire fabrication of transition pieces (TPs)

Coordination: Act as linchpin between engineering, procurement, production, QC, logistics, clients, and subcontractors

Planning & Reporting: Develop schedules, monitor progress, and provide sharp reporting

Quality & Compliance: Ensure technical specs, standards (DNV, ISO, EN), and safety regulations are always met

Hands-on presence: Support and oversee production at state-of-the-art facilities in Roermond

Risk management: Identify issues before they bite; drive proactive solutions

Stakeholder management: Prepare documentation, chair meetings, and align all parties towards one goal

Cost & contract control: Keep budget and scope on course; support compliance at every turn
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Offshore/Industrial Engineering or similar
-
5+ years experience in project/package management within offshore wind, oil & gas, or heavy steel fabrication
-
Strong track record with fabrication of offshore structures (transition pieces or similar)
-
Excellent command of English (Dutch/German is a bonus)

Skilled with project planning tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc.)

Practical, hands-on mindset and unafraid to take charge

Proven ability to coordinate, communicate, and get things done—even under pressure
