The Role
As (Lead) Electrical Engineer, you will be a key player in multidisciplinary project teams, primarily focused on the wind and offshore energy industries. Your main goal: deliver the electrical scope of large projects—on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coach, guide, and manage a team of electrical engineers, ensure seamless coordination with other disciplines and suppliers, and report directly to project or department management. You’ll be involved from the earliest feasibility studies to the final stages of detailed engineering and EPC contracts.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute electrical engineering activities within multidisciplinary teams for major wind/offshore projects

Provide technical advice and conduct feasibility studies in early project phases

Design and develop electrical systems from concept through detailed engineering (EPC contracts)

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and clients

Ensure project delivery meets quality, schedule, and budget requirements

Lead, coach, and support the electrical engineering team

Uphold safety standards and technical compliance

Report progress and results to project/department managers
What You Need to Bring

BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline

Extensive experience with electrical design for complex, large-scale engineering projects (preferably in wind/offshore energy)

Proven leadership and team management skills

Sound understanding of industry standards, technical regulations, and safety guidelines

Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)

Proactive attitude, organizational talent, and a passion for innovation

Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure
