Fabrication Support Engineer – Offshore Structures

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate work packages for steel structures

  • Ensure availability of drawings, weld maps, specs and tools

  • Act as liaison between engineering, procurement, production and subcontractors

  • Monitor progress and solve technical or logistical issues

  • Safeguard material traceability, quality and site safety

  • Identify improvements and boost efficiency on the shop floor

Your background

  • Technical degree (MBO+ / Bachelor) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Marine Engineering

  • 3+ years experience in fabrication, work prep or coordination

  • Confident reading technical drawings and specs

  • ERP systems and planning tools (e.g. MS Project) – no problem

  • Welding, NDT, coatings or assembly experience? Big plus

  • Structured, hands-on and strong communicator

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
