About the role

Perform structural engineering from concept design to detailed design for design for cribbage, grillage and seafastening, lift points, lifting appliances and installation aids.
Prepare and review detailed calculations and drawings on project related subjects such as rigging, pad-eyes, sea-fastening, barge grillages etc.
Plan assigned tasks and keep project team informed on progress and any deviations.
Liaise with those necessary to comply with the task and participate in project meetings.
Resolve technical queries and recommend solutions to engineering problems related to structural elements.
Contributes to internal meetings, client meetings, yard visits, mobilizations, and offshore works.
Ensure compliancy with engineering standards and relevant codes.

Your Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor (HTS) / Master level (Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).
Working experience in a project/construction related environment
Sound knowledge of industry codes, standards, and design guidelines. (API, DNV, AISC, ASME, ISO etc.)
Expert Knowledge of Sesam GeniE, SACS and ANSYS software.
Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

This is a 3 to 6-month project, open to professionals on either a contract basis or a self-employed (freelance) basis with a gross monthly salary of € 5.500 to € 6.500. Hourly rate ZZP: Negotiable.
