About the role

The job is focused on engineering where you’ll be spending about 60/70% of your time on, but contact with the clients is also an important part of the job. Because the projects are multidiscipline, you’ll cooperate with the other engineering departments as well. There are multiple projects running at once and with your team you’ll work on specialised equipment projects for offshore, dredging, subsea, renewable and heavy lifting projects.

Responsibilities and tasks:
•   Join meetings with clients and prepare estimations and budgets.
•   Plan work and lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and designers.
•   Assure all deliverables are of highest quality, on time and approved.
•   Make calculations and design models.
•   Report progress and discuss issues with internal and external stakeholders.
•   Coach team members.

Your Qualifications

•   MSc or BSc level in (Mechanical) Engineering.
•   10+ years of engineering experience in our industry.
•   Experience in managing engineering teams.

Where will you be working

The Offshore Equipment Development department is responsible for all Engineering aspects of the development of state-of-the-art mostly one-off offshore equipment. The full scope ranges from concept engineering all the way to the production of shop/fabrication drawings. The engineering team is also responsible for queries and changes during manufacturing.
