What will be your responsibilities?

Application of geotechnical principles to soil modelling, foundation design, cable trench construction and rockfill.
Lead complex projects, including resource planning, interpretation of soil conditions, risk analyses and technical consultancy.
Conducting CPTs, pile analyses, feasibility studies and subsurface risk assessments.
Design of offshore infrastructure (e.g. rock berms, CPS), assessment of soil conditions for installation methods and equipment, and trenching methods and equipment.
Act as expert for soil operations, ensure company guidelines, manage internal and external stakeholders, and represent the company in meetings and forums.
Develop innovative tools (including AI), contribute to R&D projects, coach junior professionals and share knowledge and lessons learned within the department.

What is your talent?

Master’s or PhD in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with at least 10 years’ experience (Senior), including relevant experience in the offshore/renewable energy sector.
Command of offshore geotechnical engineering and software (e.g. GRLWEAP, PLAXIS) and computer programming (MATLAB, Python or similar).
Thorough knowledge of current methods and standards for site investigation related to offshore wind farms and associated infrastructure such as cables, erosion protection and crossings.
Effective analytical, mentoring and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience within complex projects, as coordinator (external subcontractors and consultants) and as reviewer, including managing interfaces related to geotechnical issues.
Willingness to travel for short assignments.
