Offshore Supply Chain Manager
Office based in NL
What are your responsibilities?
- Perform commercial analysis: normalize and evaluate bids received. Incorporates technical evaluations from support disciplines including; Engineering, Planning, QHSE, Contracts and Legal department.
- Define SCM strategies to ensure that goods are delivered on time and at optimized costs levels
- Analyse, develop, implement and improve tools and processes to control SCM operations
- Support tender and project teams by creating logistics plans for the movement of all goods and equipment
- Negotiate and Coordinate subcontracts with relevant suppliers
- Support SCM Leads on tenders and projects in securing category packages
What is your talent?
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or Engineering
- At least 5 years of working experience in Shipbuilding is preferred
- Experience in a globally operating project organisation, preferably with focus on (offshore) construction projects
- Expertise in project/package management
- Thorough understanding of supply chain management, including international transportation and warehousing
- Experience in budget recommendations, bid comparisons, and commitment approvels
Where will you be working?
This employer has a large international reach and takes on complex projects focused on the construction of offshore wind farms.
