What will be your responsibilities?

The primary focus is designing the structural components for offshore energy projects, including foundations and topsides.
The role involves designing auxiliary structures like grillages, seafastening, and supporting frames necessary for transport and installation.
You are responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of engineering processes.
This includes communicating effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
Lead Engineers are expected to guide and mentor junior engineers, sharing their expertise and knowledge.
Regular reporting to the Project Manager is essential to keep them updated on project progress and any potential issues.

What is your talent?

At least a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering.
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
Offshore Wind Expertise: Experience in designing jackets, monopiles and topsides for the offshore wind industry.
Transportation and Installation Knowledge: Knowledge of transportation and installation regulations for the offshore industry.
Solid experience working with FEM software such as Ansys or SACS.
You live in The Netherlands and have a good knowledge of the English language.
