Equipment Engineer

What you will be doing?
- You are the point of contact for technical questions about the project equipment, advise on the correct use, maintenance and possible adjustments.
- You are actively involved in the preparation and execution of projects. Ensure that the technical aspects of the project run smoothly.
- In case of equipment malfunctions, you are the first to be called in. You solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure the quality of the equipment by participating in manufacturer’s tests and advising on technical modifications.
- Actively contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Work closely with the project team, vessel staff and the project manager to achieve common goals.
What you will bring to the team?
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject. Ship engineering beneficial but not essential.
- Works well independently, showing high levels of initiative.
- Demonstrates good decision-making skills and responds appropriately to problems/issues.
- Is risk focused and demonstrates effective forward planning.
- Delivers in a time-sensitive setting, flexible to adapt to the changing needs of business and competing deadlines.
- Solutions based with effective planning and organisation skills, approaches tasks in a structural and methodical manner.
