What will be your responsibilities?

Develop and implement a procurement strategy for a specific category, ensuring it aligns with company goals and project timelines.
Identify and assess market trends and innovations to meet Huisman’s portfolio needs.
Source and qualify new suppliers and products to expand the supply base.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as R&D and project management, to ensure procurement meets project specifications and timelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers.
Negotiate and manage framework agreements with suppliers.

What will you bring?

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management
5+ years of relevant experience
Offshore/maritime or heavy steel structures experience (Engineering affinity)
Project organization experience, preferably engineer-to-order
NEVI 1 and NEVI 2 certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain
Coaching and team leadership skills
